Anchorage, AK 99508Prose: Single-sided, double-spaced, stapled, no more than 10 pages. Name, contact information (phone or email) should be in the top right hand corner of the submission.
Poems: Single-sided, no more than 6 poems. Name, contact information (phone or email) should be in the top right hand corner of each poem in the submission.
Visual Arts: Please do not send original art. Send a high-quality copy or photograph of your submission. On the back please indicate name & contact information, as well as size, medium, and title of the piece.
- The Hayden Carruth Award: Awarded for the best piece of writing submitted.
- Understory Visual Arts Contest: Chosen from among visual arts submissions, the best piece will be awarded a $100 prize.
